These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Namu ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Namu mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service.
Namu is a Korean language learning application for iPhone that provides:
The AI conversation and voice call features rely exclusively on Apple Intelligence for on-device processing. No conversation data is sent to external servers.
Namu does not require account registration. The app uses Apple's in-app purchase system for subscription management. Your Apple ID governs purchase history, billing, and subscription management.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID. You agree not to share your device with others in a way that provides unauthorized access to premium features.
Namu offers a paid subscription plan ("Namu Pro") at $3.99 USD per month (Monthly plan) or at $39.99 USD per year (Annual plan). Prices may vary by country based on local App Store pricing.
All content, design, graphics, code, and materials within the Service are owned by or licensed to Namu and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
The Namu name, logo, and "나무" brand identity are trademarks of Namu. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the AI tutor's responses are always accurate, complete, or appropriate for all learners. The Service is intended as a supplementary learning tool and is not a substitute for formal language instruction.
The Voice Call and AI Conversation features require iOS 26 or later with Apple Intelligence enabled. We cannot guarantee availability of Apple Intelligence on your device.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Namu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10.00, whichever is greater.
The Service integrates with Apple's frameworks including Apple Intelligence, Speech Recognition, and in-app purchase systems. Your use of Apple's services is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Apple's services or any changes Apple makes to them.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
